Rubberized Hair  PPP-C-1120

Rubberized Hair was one of the first generally accepted cushioning materials. Rubberized Hair is an excellent packaging material because it is easy to cut and easy to use. It is porous, lightweight, and will not retain water. Rubberized Hair ages very well for long-term storage considerations, is non-conductive, and will not give off poisonous gases if burned. It is a natural product with a very low level of petro-chemical additives, is bio-degradable and reusable, and comes in a large variety of sizes. Rubberized Hair is impervious to most solvents, is inexpensive and is available in densities from 1 pound per cubic foot in sheet form, to 20 pounds per cubic foot in molded form. Rubberized Hair can be fire retardant and can be compounded to withstand extremely low temperatures (to -65°). Rubberized .Hair will cushion loads from .1 lb per square inch, and is no corrosive, having a pH close to 7. Rubberized Hair, in sheet form, is available in pre-cut sheets, rolls and die-cut sizes.
